what do you think of the show.

JAS on Wed, 12/02/2009 - 9:43am

We usually only do movies here. So far though we are on the fence. Its not as faithful to the original as we would have liked, but its something new.

We'll have to see where it goes the next few episodes before throwing the book at it. ;)

You know, not enough can be said about this film. Roland Emmerich's masterpiece is one of those you can write a full novel with so much to be said. A film that's ranked in most critic's love to write their thesis from.

I wonder if Bay and Emmerich went to school together? If can explode or be destroyed, then you know they'll be there.

JAS on Fri, 09/25/2009 - 7:18am

Maybe they are secretly related. ;)

Saving Private Ryan, saved the summer of 98' by being the best picture of the year.

It's been 11 years since that Fish eating stinker was made.

My favorite quote.

"That's a lot of fish" - Matthew Broderick.

JAS on Thu, 09/10/2009 - 3:12pm

The first movie where Ronald Emmerich didn't entertain us by blowing up half the worlds monuments in. No wonder it was a bore. And Matthew Broderick... sigh...

On the queue! :)

Worst decision Will Smith ever made, starring in WWW, rather than taking the role of, Neo in The Matrix. Review this disaster of a movie.

JAS on Mon, 10/19/2009 - 11:42am

Reviewed and posted! Enjoy the pain that I have experienced watching this movie. It was one of the hardest to get through since I've been working on this site.

JAS on Fri, 09/04/2009 - 7:04am

I caught most of this movie once. It was surprising that even though it had a talented cast it resulted in such a nightmare. Good pick! Look for it soon!

Anonymous (not verified) on Thu, 08/27/2009 - 3:26am

Cartoons, are meant to be on the TV for a reason.

JAS on Thu, 08/27/2009 - 7:11am

This would be a good one, too! Thanks!

I've just finished watching Inspector Gadget... there WILL be a review. :)

Too many bad live action films in the 90's, but this one's a must.

RetroGuy09 on Tue, 08/25/2009 - 4:48pm

Fits right in there next to the Transformers and G.I. Joe movies.

JAS on Tue, 08/25/2009 - 8:58pm

Welcome NostalfiaGuy09! Yes, you are probably right, but bitter must prevail! :)

JAS on Tue, 08/25/2009 - 7:35am

This should be an interesting one to rip into, er review. Thanks! :)

Anonymous (not verified) on Sun, 08/23/2009 - 11:03pm

Review this movie.

JAS on Tue, 08/25/2009 - 7:29am

I'm interested in checking this one out. I'll try to get to it soon! Thanks for the suggestion!

It's up already.

JAS on Sat, 08/22/2009 - 9:37am

Hehe. Here at Bitter Balcony there is always an opinion.

I'll have to write a breakdown of what I think. I checked it out yesterday and considered writing something about it. Sometime early next week I'll have something up about this. Must do research first. :)

Thanks for the request!

JAS on Wed, 09/02/2009 - 9:16pm

Done and posted!

Anonymous (not verified) on Wed, 08/05/2009 - 3:48am

Thanks for the suggestion!

I loved reading The Time Traveler's Wife. I'm excited about the movie coming out, but a little bit unsure about it too. There's always that fear that they will completely ruin it. Any plans to review this one?

JAS on Wed, 07/29/2009 - 3:42pm

I had considered writing about it for the Lookout section above, but I'm not 100% about it's translation to film. I will review it when it comes out though. :)

Anonymous (not verified) on Fri, 07/24/2009 - 8:12am

Critics disliked it... a lot, but the box office performance is only showing that people don't really care what the critics have to say even if they had a sign right in the middle of their noses!

JAS on Mon, 07/27/2009 - 9:46pm

User review for this one here: Transformers II

I'll probably chime in sometime soon.

JAS on Fri, 07/24/2009 - 8:29am

I watched this one right before starting this site. I'll revisit it and chime in. Trust me, there is a lot to be bitter about with this one. :)

Harry Potter is right about to pop out of his magical book and into chaotic frantic and panic inducing scenes of stressing dilute story lines. That sounds like a good place for you to start.

JAS on Fri, 07/10/2009 - 3:36pm

I'll have to catch up with the last two, so you might get a triple whammy coming your way!

JAS on Wed, 07/15/2009 - 10:57am

Goblet of Fire has been watched and a review will be posted by Monday. :)
